Luke and Hannah's Wedding Day - 21st April 2015

I met Luke during my time at college around 7 years ago, we were both studying photography but were in different classes, so I'd see him walking around every so often. Then in our second year, our classes were mixed and we became good friends. I met Hannah at Luke's 18th Birthday before setting off for university.

It was great to see their relationship flourish, I would occasionally see pictures and status updates on facebook; then one day just after graduation I saw something that made me really happy.

A few weeks later I photographed Luke and Hannah and we produed some beautiful engagement pictures of them. You can see the pictures here.

Anyway, flash forward 2 years to April the 21st; the day we had all been waiting for!

It's been a while, but I felt like sharing

I know I haven't posted here in a while, but I've been working on something new things that I will be sharing in the new weeks!
But I just wanted to share this beautiful picture with you all.

I've just finished editing the pictures from my last wedding and wanted to share one of my favourites with you all!
The first dance has always been a struggle of mine, getting the lighting right as well as capturing a beautiful moment, well I guess all that hard work finally paid off and I managed to capture this beautiful image of the bride and groom looking beautiful together seemingly just lost in the moment.

Gavin and Adriana's Beautiful Wedding Day

Back in the middle of June, a few days before their wedding, I met with Gavin and Adriana for the first time at their house, it was a lovely first meeting and I had the pleasure of meeting Adriana's parents too.

On the morning of the 20th of June, I woke up early and looked out of the window, to my surprise and joy it was slightly overcast! This meant it would be really good weather for shooting outside!

As I arrived at the hotel to photograph Adriana getting ready, I felt relaxed and confident. As I entered the suite, I was greeted by Adriana, her bridesmaid, her mum and her make up artist. Adriana had just finished getting her make up done so I quickly set up and started snapping away.

Luckily we were able to venture out onto the balcony and capture some beautiful pictures with the green surroundings in the background. 

Adriana's mother joined us on the Balcony for some pictures too!

Once we got some of the initial pictures out of the way and Adriana had seen them she was ready to pop the cork on her champagne bottle, I think this was a family tradition, enjoying champagne and strawberries.

After sipping some champagne I stole Adriana away for a few pictures on her own.
